Brazil coach Carlo Ancelotti praised his team‍‍`s display after a convincing 3-0 victory over Haiti, saying the performance showed clear progress and insisting the five-time world champions can still raise their level as the World Cup advances.

Brazil responded strongly after a disappointing draw against Morocco in their opening Group C match, producing a dominant display that moved them to the top of the group and put them on the verge of securing a place in the knockout stage.

Matheus Cunha scored twice, while Vinicius Junior continued his fine form by finding the net for the second consecutive game as Brazil controlled proceedings for long periods in Philadelphia.

Speaking after the match, Ancelotti said his players delivered the type of performance he had been expecting, highlighting improvements in attacking efficiency, defensive organisation and overall game management.

The veteran Italian coach noted that Brazil created numerous scoring opportunities and looked more balanced throughout the contest compared to their tournament opener.

Despite the comfortable win, Ancelotti stressed that there is still room for improvement as Brazil prepare for the challenges ahead in the knockout rounds.

The victory leaves Brazil level on points with Morocco at the top of Group C but ahead on goal difference, placing them in a strong position with one group-stage match remaining.

Brazil will next face Scotland in Miami, where a positive result could secure first place in the group and potentially offer a more favourable route in the next round.

Ancelotti said his team would not underestimate Scotland, pointing to the European side‍‍`s competitive display against Morocco despite suffering a narrow defeat.

The Brazil coach also provided an encouraging update on Neymar‍‍`s fitness.

The forward, who has been sidelined with a calf injury, has returned to training and is expected to be available for the match against Scotland.

According to Ancelotti, Neymar will continue his recovery programme over the coming days before rejoining full team training ahead of the final group-stage fixture.

With momentum building and key players returning to fitness, Brazil appear to be finding form at the right time as they target a record-extending sixth World Cup title.
